After weeks and weeks of final placement, I took a trip home to escape planning lessons and marking books. It was so nice to be outside in daylight hours! South Cave has a gorgeous community allotment. It's huge so takes some looking after and my mum helps out some weekends. I try to take a visit whenever I'm home to see what's been planted and to find things to cook for dinner. Seeing things on my plate that have been grown ten minutes away makes me very happy.
