La Rochelle made for an excellent place to christen my lovely new DSLR. 

My friend is here for the year and invited me to stay with her last minute. I am growing to love spontaneous adventures more & more so I took her up on her offer. Laughter and great food and language mishaps made for a lovely week.

Sunshine will always make me happy.

    these are really cool Lucy...have you edited them after taking? What did you use to edit if so? I've just entered the DSLR world too and am curious :-)

    Thanks! A mix of iPhoto and Picassa. I've only just started on Picassa, pretty sure it's miles better that iPhoto but I don't know my way round yet. I just left most of them though, the camera did the work for me! Which one did you go for?

    I went for the Canon D1100 which is quite nice...I tend to use Picassa but haven't ever really sat down and tried to learn it properly
